Pediatric Neuropsychologists
Pediatric Neuropsychologists are psychologists who specialize in the functioning of the brain and how it relates to behavior and cognitive ability. They have completed post-doctoral training in neuropsychology, evaluation, and hold either a Ph.D. or a Psy.D. They perform neuropsychological assessments to measure a student’s abilities over a broad range of cognitive tasks. These assessments provide insight into a student’s learning style, areas of cognitive strength and weakness, and determine if there are any learning differences ensuring students receive proper remediation.
